font-variant: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;\">El tequila es un producto ic\u00f3nico de la cultura mexicana y, desde hace muchos a\u00f1os, goza del reconocimiento y la preferencia de consumidores de todo el mundo, llegando hoy en d\u00eda a m\u00e1s de 120 pa\u00edses. Entre \u00e9stos destacan cinco que, en conjunto, <\/span><a style=\"text-decoration: none;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tequileros.org\/en\/tequila-industry\/\"><span style=\"font-size: 11pt; font-family: Arial,sans-serif; color: #1155cc; background-color: transparent; font-weight: 400; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; text-decoration: underline; -webkit-text-decoration-skip: none; text-decoration-skip-ink: none; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;\">importan aproximadamente el 91 por ciento<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-size: 11pt; font-family: Arial,sans-serif; color: #000000; background-color: transparent; font-weight: 400; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;\"> de todo el tequila que se vende fuera de M\u00e9xico: Estados Unidos (84.16 %), Alemania (2.11 %), Espa\u00f1a (1.55 %), Jap\u00f3n (1.45 %) y Canad\u00e1 (1.39 %).\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><b style=\"font-weight: normal;\">\u00a0<\/b><\/p><p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"line-height: 1.38; text-align: justify; margin-top: 0pt; margin-bottom: 0pt;\"><span style=\"font-size: 11pt; font-family: Arial,sans-serif; color: #000000; background-color: transparent; font-weight: 400; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;\">Ante esta alta demanda, \u00bfc\u00f3mo se logra mantener la misma calidad en cada rinc\u00f3n del planeta? Pues bien, as\u00ed como sucede con otros productos de categor\u00eda internacional, como la champa\u00f1a o el queso manchego, el tequila posee lo que se conoce como una Denominaci\u00f3n de Origen (DO). Este t\u00e9rmino designa a un producto como originario de una regi\u00f3n geogr\u00e1fica espec\u00edfica, y cuya calidad o caracter\u00edsticas pertenecen exclusivamente a dicha regi\u00f3n.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><b style=\"font-weight: normal;\">\u00a0<\/b><\/p><p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"line-height: 1.38; text-align: justify; margin-top: 0pt; margin-bottom: 0pt;\"><span style=\"font-size: 11pt; font-family: Arial,sans-serif; color: #000000; background-color: transparent; font-weight: 400; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;\">Los productos que poseen esta distinci\u00f3n se caracterizan por cumplir con altos est\u00e1ndares de calidad y, sobre todo, de autenticidad. Las denominaciones de origen est\u00e1n protegidas por diferentes normas y leyes nacionales e internacionales, y su prop\u00f3sito es fomentar la econom\u00eda de las regiones que producen art\u00edculos como la champa\u00f1a (oriunda del vi\u00f1edo de Champagne), el queso manchego (zona geogr\u00e1fica La mancha de Albacete, Cuenca, Ciudad Real y Toledo, Espa\u00f1a) y, por supuesto, el tequila (cinco estados de la Rep\u00fablica Mexicana). Canad\u00e1 fue el primer pa\u00eds en hacerlo, en 1979; en 1997, M\u00e9xico y la Uni\u00f3n Europea acordaron el reconocimiento mutuo y la protecci\u00f3n de sus respectivas Denominaciones de Origen; y en 2017, Estados Unidos se sum\u00f3 a la lista, lo que impuls\u00f3 con mayor fuerza la popularidad del tequila a nivel internacional.<\/span><\/p><p><b style=\"font-weight: normal;\">\u00a0<\/b><\/p><p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"line-height: 1.38; text-align: justify; margin-top: 0pt; margin-bottom: 0pt;\"><span style=\"font-size: 11pt; font-family: Arial,sans-serif; color: #000000; background-color: transparent; font-weight: 400; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;\">Las denominaciones de origen son sumamente importantes para proteger, promover y fortalecer la venta de productos como el tequila, diferenci\u00e1ndolos de imitaciones y falsificaciones. Asimismo, es el organismo encargado de inspeccionar, analizar y certificar que el tequila cumpla con todas las normas establecidas, salvaguardando as\u00ed su denominaci\u00f3n de origen y garantizando al consumidor la autenticidad de la bebida que consume.<\/span><\/p><p><b style=\"font-weight: normal;\">\u00a0<\/b><\/p><p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"line-height: 1.38; text-align: justify; margin-top: 0pt; margin-bottom: 0pt;\"><span style=\"font-size: 11pt; font-family: Arial,sans-serif; color: #000000; background-color: transparent; font-weight: 400; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;\">Adem\u00e1s de trabajar arduamente para combatir la falsificaci\u00f3n y la pirater\u00eda, el CRT tambi\u00e9n promueve la sostenibilidad y la responsabilidad social en la producci\u00f3n del tequila, implementando programas para reducir el consumo de agua, generar energ\u00eda renovable y minimizar la huella de carbono. Segundo, habr\u00e1 que contar con la tecnolog\u00eda, los controles y la capacidad t\u00e9cnica correspondientes. El CRT realiza un dictamen t\u00e9cnico en cada destiler\u00eda y, posteriormente, el Instituto Mexicano de la Propiedad Industrial autoriza el uso de la palabra \u201ctequila\u201d y de la marca NOM (Norma Oficial Mexicana) por un periodo de 10 a\u00f1os. Este 2024 se conmemoraron los 50 a\u00f1os de la Denominaci\u00f3n de Origen Tequila, as\u00ed como 30 a\u00f1os de la creaci\u00f3n del Consejo Regulador del Tequila, y las cifras no mienten: hoy por hoy, la Denominaci\u00f3n de Origen del Tequila es patrimonio nacional. Adem\u00e1s de contribuir a preservar la historia, tradiciones y ra\u00edces de M\u00e9xico, proteger al tequila promueve la econom\u00eda y mejora la calidad de vida de miles de familias en regiones del pa\u00eds donde es fundamental fomentar el empleo y activar el crecimiento econ\u00f3mico.
